Our Story:

North Lake Media has been serving clients since 2006. The company was originally founded by Michael Giovanni of Lake George, New York, who believed businesses deserved professional websites and strong online presence long before many companies understood the importance of digital visibility.

Starting as a small regional operation in the Adirondacks, North Lake Media grew by helping businesses build websites that were structured properly for search engines and designed for long term success online.

In 2021, after more than a decade of building the company, Michael Giovanni stepped into retirement. Today, North Lake Media continues to operate under a board led structure with a team of eight dedicated professionals who work remotely throughout the Lake George region.

While technology continues to evolve, the mission remains the same as it was in 2006: provide businesses with reliable digital expertise, thoughtful strategy, and a professional online presence that stands the test of time.

Michael Giovanni

Michael Giovanni is the founder of North Lake Media, originally launching the company in 2006 with a vision of helping businesses build strong and trustworthy digital presences. Michael graduated from New York University (NYU) in 1977 with a degree in Broadcasting, beginning a long career rooted in media, communications, and digital innovation.

Under Michael’s leadership, North Lake Media grew into a trusted digital services company serving businesses across New York and beyond. After guiding the company for over a decade, Michael retired from day to day operations in 2021.

Today, he remains involved as one of the company’s acting board members, helping guide the direction of North Lake Media while supporting the next generation of leadership.
